I work as a cashier at like a store basically and one of my coworkers is super outgoing and friendly and talks to customers and stuff but is an ltn manlet and often gets ignored or the customers get annoyed

I literally am always on my phone and don’t sound enthusiastic and yet our bosses pulled him aside and said he needs to change his attitude because they noticed customers being “put off” by it
