Newton’s laws of motion don’t change depending on your location, if I drop a pen & a beer can at the same height anywhere on earth, they will both hit the ground at the same time. wrong. in the north pole I think the pen will drop faster "at the same height" since there is stronger gravity since North pole is closer to earths core than let's say the equator due to earth's shape.

You are completely ignoring air resistance. The air resistance is negligible when you are dropping two objects from a short height indoors, but try doing that from the top of a building when it's windy. The heavier object will touch the ground first.
