saw something at a recent family function that hit way harder than any of those clips of sub5s getting rejected ever could
i went to a family function today and it messed with me. my relative has two sons, one is about 1.5 years old and the other is 3.5. the younger one already looked off lopsided face, mouthbreathing, constantly drooling, couldn’t breathe through his nose properly. his head was shaped weird too, the back of it stuck out a lot. meanwhile the older one looked like a literal child model. symmetrical face, sharp bone structure, bright blue eyes, blonde hair. he was even juggling a ball while the younger one didn’t even seem to understand what a ball was. i asked and pointed at the ball “wanna play?”, he just looked at me like he wasn’t fully there, he started at me blankly, like there was a disconnect, it GENUINBELY felt like his brain was struggling to process the world around him, and you know what the worst part is? the way everyone treated them. the older one got all the attention, all the love. the younger one kept falling and no one even reacted. the brutal truth is, from the moment you are conceived, your appearance decides how much love, care, and attention you get.
