Africas geography and environment makes it near impossible to create large civilization, plus the fact africa has almost no native domesticable crops, no native domesticable animals. Near no navigable rivers which makes trade almost impossible, near no coastline and natural harbors. On top of that half of the year africa is in a dry season which makes farming near impossible.

Then the other half is a rain season where flooding of crops is common. Not to mention every animal in africa wants to kill you not to mention there’s a desert the size of the USA separating black Africans from the rest of the world meaning Africans had to invent the things to develop civilization independently.
