If you're completely untrained you can get away with eating at maintenance or even deficit and your body will still adapt muscles

3) if your on gear
4) if your above 20% bf
5) if you’ve quit the gym for a long period and came back (myscle memory)

If we take a skinny teenager who is 12% bf and he eat 600 calories and 60 g of protein he would still get jacked if we inject him with trt + 700 tren ace he would be even leaner
