The common misconception about it, Is causing asymmetry, many times used in arguments to prove it unpractical and really risky , which is false. when you microfacture your skull, its not like that the specifically damaged part grows stronger and bigger, that whole Area (like maxilla, supras, infras, chin, zygos. Wont suggest supras and infras its riskier) grows bigger and stronger cause the skull is induced to trauma so the body/brain itself make that whole portion of that area of the skull bigger and stronger, only way any asymmetry can happen is if you are only hitting one side, or one part of the skull. try to make the damage as equal as possibly you can, you dont have to be 100% accurate body will do its part. Boxers are an example, any asymmetry they have is due to fatal bone bone injure not due to incorrect healing. so bonesmashing is as normal as hiting gym. our ancentors went all kinda natural bonesmashing that made their skull stronger, bigger and better. and that sequence still stays active ofcourse not as strong as what possibly neanderthals had but still yes we still have that kind of mechanism active till to this date active for our muscle and bone adaptablity
