im 2007 so i dont have much experience i can give with boomers besides primary school, idk what that is for u americans.
In the early 2010s i felt like they taught us some sort of optimism and were always so happy. They were massive hippies and genually were telling us the world was built on how you make it. I remember we would go to a massive hall every other day for the mornings. The songs we sang were such boomer songs.
Its like these niggas think they saw the end of history, yeah US was still invading random countries in the middle east but the wall seperating east and west fell and billions were being lifted out of poverty. Apartheid ended. Civil rights succeeded.
They werent all just massive big hippies they still made us continue some of the past tradition from their religious parents and made us sing christian christmas songs (this was a secular primary school btw that was public had muslism forced to sing it
)
I think they were out in their best interest but their optimism was too much and a lot of Gen Z had these niggas as teachers and professors and felt like they were sold a lie. When 90% of wealth is owned by the over 50s, niggas are browsing this forum and the youth gets more and more troubled. It was just such a hippie way of viewing things.
Imagine you were hyped up so much by these boomers who got every opportunity in the world and then ur on org fucking gooning at 2am. Gen alpha might do better cuz their millennial and gen x teachers might just be straight up with them, and tell them how it is and that life isnt just sunshine and rainbows and they will be far more prepared.
Gen Z just seemed like test subjects atp, if gen alpha actually do good i will be pissed.
