I don't wear lifts or buy boots for heel height but I do love a good boot. Over the years I've built a collection, and I've noticed that while most height guides here talk sneakers nobody really talks about boots. That's a miss, because:

β€’ Boots don't squish down like sneakers - you get true height.

β€’ Boots are tough - they can last for years sometimes decades. Some of my boots are like 4-5 years and still look new

β€’ Boots are versatile some even work in snow rainand rough terrain.

So here are my recommendations

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Lugged
Platform 2.0 X High "Waterproof"

1000184750

These are chunky and heavy. If you're going for a statement look especially something punk goth, or even streetwear with an edge they can work. But I'll be honest I rarely wear them. The weight and styling make them less practical for daily wear. Still if you want something that boosts your height and is waterproof, this is it. Easy 2-3 inches of height

Columbia Men's Bugaboot III

1000184751

These are serious work boots. Think winter hikes, snow, or freezing rain. They're insulated, incredibly durable, and heavy enough to easily knock someone out if needed. With casual wear they're basically over-engineered which is a good thing you'll get years, maybe even decades of use out of them. Great for winter months or for that hardcore outdoorsy look.

Red Wing Iron Ranger

Classic American heritage boot. Full-grain leather, Goodyear welt, Vibram sole. Once broken in, they feel amazing and will last you years mine looks like new and I bought it 5 years ago. Works great with jeans, flannel, and layered fits. Not lightweight by any means but you feel planted and elevated. Thick sole gives you a legit 2-inch boost. They are not cheap but they are worth the money.

Dr. Martens Jadon Platform Boot

1000184761

Don't own them but I've seen people wearing them. They are quite popular these days.If you want height, Docs will deliver and the Jadon is their peak. Classic 1460 style but with a thick, chunky sole. Not subtle, but still wearable with the right fit. Not as rugged as work boots but lighter weight. Wear these if you're leaning into punk, goth, or edgy streetwear

Nike SFB Field 2 8" Tactical Boot

1000184763

Surprisingly lightweight for how beastly they look. Worn by military personnel and first responders designed to firmly plant you in ground in the most uneven terrain with a reinforced heel to help you carry gear/survivors on your back in combat/rescue situations. Gives you that tall, upright posture and an aggressive stance. You're easily gaining 2+ inches. Bonus: breathable and ready for hell.

You can't assume the intention of the wearer, though. There are plenty of people wearing 2" running shoes strictly for athletic reasons and 2" combat boots for tactical reasons and don't care about the height increase. Lifts well there's only one reason to wear those. These boots are also very comfortable too

Air force one only gives 1.25 inches of height increase and if you add soles they are uncomfortable. All the ones I listed give over 2 inches easy. Red Wing can be worn every day no problem. The other can work too depending on your style

maybe autists here have no problems because theyve never been outside or had any social experiences, but I guarantee if you wore any of that shit youve posted, people are gonna cook your ass or there gonna ask questions and shit, itll look weird :lul:

Blue collar workers wear boots like these every day. Btw workwear is also a recent fashion trend among zoomers. All these boots are considered very fashionable these days. Old worn out Carhartt, grease-stained denim, sun-faded flannel. You see guys on job sites wearing Red Wings, Thorogoods, Dickies, Timberlands not for clout, but because they need them. Now those same boots are getting styled in streetwear fits and runways.

New Balance 9060 gives good height increase and are breathable but if you want something classically styled certain suede loafers and espadrilles also give good height while being lightweight and breathable

Avoid. 9060, 5740, or most chunky shoes if you've got slim ankles. They'll make your feet look like hovercrafts. Stick to loafers and slip-ons then.

Yea But doesnt matter the reason , the eyes of the person will notice the thick soles and assume that you are smaller than you look it happened to me with mcqueen, people were saying to me you are so tall with those shoes

The sole looks obvious and retarded there, you need something that doesnt look like a platform and do this after you havent seen those people for 1-2 months like summer break so they dont notice the immediate difference
