I swear some people underrate a lot the place where they're living, not even talking about looks but when i hear people from first world countries complaining about the place where they live it genuinely pisses me off, i understand that they don't mean wrong or anything and its just the only life they know, but try living in the Favelas, where you can find 7yo children with glocks and they will shoot at you without giving a fuck just to get your wallet, or Haiti where people will execute you with machetes, severing limbs until you bleed out only to make soup out of you, and lets not even get into cartel dominated zones in Latin America where the worst possible torture methods occur on a daily basis, thankfully i live in a relatively good place, but i've been to real fucked up places and seen death and extreme poverty with my own eyes, people from first world countries probably don't even know or understand how fucking bad some people have it in life, hell even the ugliest people on the forum are priviliged compared to humans in brutal nations

i can tell you from my experiences, the quality of life seems better in Korea, due to the constant commercialization, glaze from media, develop nation etc. However, its completely miserable in reality.

kids get no sleep, studying up to 3 am even in middle school
one singular test determines your life, so there is just the feeling of pressure, like shackles permanently wrapped around your ankles
the school culture is extremely terrible, bullying, and high competitiveness makes everything hard.


not to talk about the fact that physical genes are also not in your favor
small penises, short body types

incredibly unfortunate what goes on there, I'm extremely glad to have moved to the states

america is really relaxed, i think americans dont know how easy they have it, there is school-work-life balance, not big of a backward/ignorant culture, social pressures arent as extreme even in subcommunities like these
