  • Skin care: Many focus on facial features like cheekbones or jawlines, but healthy, well-maintained skin can make a significant impact. Using products suited for your skin type (hydration, sunscreen, acne treatments) can greatly improve your appearance.
  • Personalized clothing style: Knowing how to choose clothes that flatter your body shape and match your personality is essential. A good sense of style can transform someone, making them more attractive than just wearing trendy clothes that don't fit well.
  • Teeth and mouth: Many neglect the importance of having a well-kept mouth, but white teeth, a healthy smile, and good dental hygiene are often decisive factors in overall appearance.
  • Posture: Having a straight, confident posture can drastically change how you are perceived. A slouched posture can make someone appear less attractive, even if they have other favorable features.
  • Facial expression: Controlling your facial expressions and knowing how to smile naturally can greatly enhance attractiveness. A genuine smile, for example, has a far more positive effect than a neutral face or forced grin.
  • Lighting and subtle makeup: Lighting plays a significant role in appearance. Knowing how to highlight your features with proper lighting or applying minimal but effective makeup (like concealing imperfections or accentuating certain traits) can make a huge difference.
  • Hair maintenance: Many underestimate the importance of regular haircuts and using products that suit their hair type. A good hairstyle, even if simple, can significantly elevate your overall look.
  • Mental health and well-being: Your outward appearance is influenced by your mental state. People who feel good about themselves, are confident, and calm often radiate more than those who focus solely on physical changes.

Overrated
  • Surgical enhancements: While procedures like rhinoplasty or jawline surgery can improve certain features, they can also be risky, expensive, and lead to dissatisfaction if expectations are unrealistic. Surgery isn’t a guaranteed way to look better—it may alter your appearance, but it doesn't always result in a dramatic improvement or boost in confidence.
  • Extreme dieting or excessive weight loss: While maintaining a healthy weight is important, drastic dieting or obsession with weight loss can lead to poor health or even eating disorders. The focus on having a "perfect" body often ignores that everyone’s ideal body looks different and that health is more important than fitting into a certain aesthetic.
  • Trendy fashion or "fast fashion": Following every fashion trend in an attempt to look attractive can often backfire. Trends don’t always flatter everyone, and focusing too much on what’s popular rather than developing your own style can lead to a lack of authenticity in your appearance.
  • Overuse of makeup: While makeup can be a fun and effective way to enhance your features, heavy or overly intricate makeup can sometimes mask your natural beauty. Relying too much on makeup can also create an unrealistic image of yourself, leading to dependency on cosmetic products.
  • Over-focusing on symmetry: While symmetry is often associated with beauty, it's overrated to the point where many people obsess over every tiny asymmetry in their face or body. Minor imperfections and uniqueness are often what make a person stand out and be more attractive in an individual way.
  • Too much focus on "masculine" or "feminine" traits: Trying to emphasize hyper-masculine or hyper-feminine traits in an attempt to fit a societal mold can be overrated. Beauty and attractiveness are subjective, and pushing yourself into these narrow categories can make you lose sight of what makes you uniquely attractive.
  • Gym obsession: While staying fit is important, becoming overly obsessed with gym workouts and gaining muscle mass can lead to burnout and potential health issues. Over-exercising or obsessing over building the "perfect" physique may create more pressure than it’s worth, especially when a balanced approach to fitness is more sustainable.
  • Facial hair grooming (for men): While some facial hair styles can enhance a man’s appearance, the idea that facial hair is an automatic "looksmax" move for every man is overrated. Not every face shape benefits from the same type of facial hair, and sometimes, keeping a clean-shaven face may be more flattering.

Not at all. Skin is one of the most important things by far.
Skin is perfectly fairly rated — realy, it isn’t overrated and isn’t underrated — it’s exactly how it should be treated in the community.

You missread on what i've said . Having a skincare wont automatically make ur skin look better , perhaps it can make it look even worse if you are overloading your face with products . You dont need more than a moisturizer, spf and exfoliating once a week.

People neglect the most important things that really affects their skin , which most of it is diet , vitamin deficiencies and genetic ( hormonal acnee ) , and it wont go away without accutane which is better than any skincare products

Low Zinc , Vitamin b3 , Vitamin B5 are associated with acnee

You see foids overloading their face with skincare products yet they still have their face full of pimples and redness if they dont use makeup
