No, it's not what you think. I am not going to talk about skin colour.

Your skin isn’t just your largest organ—it’s a public resume of your discipline, health, and genetic fitness. Glass skin > Rolex. Here’s how to weaponize it:

1/ Start Early
The best time to fix your skin was at 16. The second best time is today.

  • Teens/20s: SPF + retinoids = compound interest.
  • 30s+: Damage control is 10x harder. Don’t wait.

2/ The Holy Trinity (Non-Negotiable)
A. Cleanser: Vanicream or CeraVe. AM/PM.
B. Moisturizer: Same brand. Keep it boring.
C. SPF 50+: Reapply every 2hrs outside. Brutal truth: UV damage = 80% of aging.

3/ Tretinoin: The Nuclear Option

  • Start at 0.025%. Buffer with moisturizer.
  • Use 3x/week → nightly over 6 months.
  • Purge phase: 8 weeks of hell. Push through.
  • Endgame: Collagen reboot, pores vanish, texture = silk.

4/ Diet = Invisible Skincare

  • Eat: Fatty fish (omega-3s), carrots (vitamin A), tomatoes (lycopene), walnuts (zinc).
  • Avoid: Sugar (glycation = wrinkles), seed oils (inflammatory), alcohol (dehydration).
  • Optional: 10mg astaxanthin daily (oral sunscreen boost).

5/ Sleep Like a Vampire

  • 7–9hrs. One bad night → cortisol spike → breakouts.
  • Silk pillowcase ($20 on Amazon). Wash it weekly.
  • Pro tip: Sleep on your back. Face-smushing = wrinkles.

6/ Advanced Hacks (Optional)

  • AM: Vitamin C serum (brightening).
  • PM: Niacinamide (pore refinement).
  • Weekly: Glycolic acid (10%) on body (KP/backne).
  • Optional: Red light therapy panel (collagen on steroids).

7/ Hands Betray Age First
SPF your hands DAILY.

  • Why: Thinner skin + sun exposure while driving.
  • Fix: Apply leftover face SPF to hands after face.
  • Brutal truth: “Grandma face + veiny hands” = cope.

Skin is the ultimate flex—a 24/7 billboard of your lifestyle. No surgery, filters, or $$ can fake consistent discipline. Start now.

Invest in your skin. It’s the only outfit you can’t take off.

Is SPF that necessary if you live somewhere with barely any sun?

When the UV index is less than 2, the amount of skin damage is extremely negligible. If you only spend 10-20 minutes a day outside it will cause zero collagen destruction.

This mostly applies to very northern countries like Sweden or Norway that get close to zero sunlight during the winter.

Any time the UV index is over 3, you should have SPF cream on. The amount of damage is exponential for each 1 increase in UV index (up until 11, where even a few minutes in the sun without protection will give you a sunburn and cause long term collagen damage).

Great thread though and very accurate.

What about a red light mask? Is there any you recommend?

Could you say it’s better than tretinoin?

DNR but just take

SPF
GHK CU Injection
Giga low Dose accutane
Duta
And eat healthy and Get sleep

thats true, but are you against every cleanser?
no, theres some good ones like maximise cleanser, dermatica glycerin gel or untoxicated face wash. Keep in mind that cleansing is practically useless because most skin problems come from a lack of moisture and a weak skin barrier

couldnt it be caused by clogged pores? Therefore it would make sense to cleanse

all caused by diet, cleansing is good but Everything comes down to your diet and supplementation
