Ever notice how cats are domesticated and ugly animals such as pigs are just seen as food? Cats have features that are ideal on many people such as their eye area, jaw and predatory look whereas pigs are fat and ugly. Cats are viewed as cute and companions purely because of their looks and pigs are viewed as meat purely because of their bad aesthetics. Would we still eat pigs if they had better aesthetics? I don't think so. Same applies to cows and chickens.
