Braces and a Recessed Maxilla

I had braces to fix my overbite earlier in my middle school years and it did. But I’m wondering if someone who has a recessed maxilla who got their bite fixed would look worse when finished with braces? I heard that if you have a recessed maxilla and fixed your overbite, it would make it worse/more noticeable that you are recessed.

Yes, I have similar case. My lower third development was stunted in order to align my teeth because I had underbite.
