I hear alot of people talkling about how they fixed their overbite with braces, but braves only help when you're in your developmental stage and they add an appliance to pull your jaw forward, correct?
As i understand, when you're older, braces only help align your teeth, after which you need bimax to actually change your bite and bone, right?
asking because i'm 19, and i have bimax + braces coming up, so i'm wondering if i should be expecting any substantial results before the actual surgery, that'll happen when i'm around 20-21
