braces and zygo changes

i got braces in july 2023 when i was 14 and now im 16 turning 17 next month in november, the first photo was in august 2023, a month after getting braces and the second photo was in september 2025 so 2 years and a month of having braces. my zygo bones appear to be not projected laterally anymore. i did get two bottom wisdom teeth removed in around february 2025 aswell and elastic bands being at the front of my bottom teeth to the back of my upper teeth to correct my underbite i will be getting jaw surgery sometime next year though. why do you think my zygos appear less projected is it because of just aging or do braces and wisdom teeth extraction and elastic bands have something to do with it?
