Braces is the worst thing that happened to me

When I was 13 I got braces and only had them on for 9 monhs. I have a bonded retainer now to make sure my teeth don't move. after the 9 months I became fucking recessed as shit. Now I don't know what to do. It's been two years since and I look like I don't have a chin anymore. What anyone had the same experience or what can I do to fix this?

I dk as well if that bonded retainer stops any palatal expansion as I think I might have a narrow palate so mewing hasn't been having very successful results

If you got recessed from 9 months in braces you was recessed before. Unless you used type 2 elastics or extracted teeth. But even those things makes minimal change and zero change to chin.

I dont think they recess you but moving lower teeth forward when mandible or chin is already recessed should be fucking illegal. Thats what happened to me.

I had them from 10 to 15, dude, is it supposed to be my fault for not being aware sooner?
My parents´ because they´re stupid and uneducated?

I looked at pics of me when I was around 8 years old, I apparently always was that recessed.
