braces maxilla expansion

My ortho told me that i need braces to widen my upper jaw ( He told me that my palate is narrow) and fix gap bettween 2 front upper teeth and a lil crowding in bottom in the front and widen a little(DAMON BRACES).
Should i go for it or no.

I am 16year 1 month left and ill be 17

i had braces and palate exzpander, it made my face wider and cheek boness high and popping, so i have a wide face, but still my mixxla is not that froward grown and chin projection not that good, or maybe cant see resuts becasuse im fat
