Braces

I have a slight overbite, teeth overcrowding/crooked teeth, but my dad keeps telling me I don't need braces.
I'm 15 already, and I don't want this problem to persist into my adulthood and atleast have a reasonably bearable highscool experience, how can I convince him? Maybe it's possible to fund this yourself?

Get palate expander, not braces. Overcrowding teeth is because of a narrow palate, and a narrow palate means less room for teeth.

Getting braces means they're extracting the molars, which is a big no no and will make your mandible recessed.

Mse or palate expander first, then braces

tho the problem persists, because according to him my teeth are good enough. but still, thanks a whole lot for the headsup D

Yeah if your dad cant afford them that might be the reason hes saying no but I had Braves twice and im thankfully I did
