this is a retarted question but i had braces for like 6 months but got them off, did those 6 months make a big difference in my growth? and btw ive got like a fixed orthodontic retainer which is like some type of clay with a metal string that holds my bottom incisors set, will this be a problem during puberty/growth? genuinly no idea please help

Braces impact bone development insignificantly since the bones in the face (skull) are done growing at a very young age. I've had braces for about 3 years before taking them off earlier this year and there are no signs of recession or any lack in bone growth/development.
