I just got braces, and shit hurts so bad. I'm taking oxycodone to cope but my teeth hurt so much, alongside when I bite at all it feels like death. They also gave me turbos, and it feels weird as shit, is there any copes I can do and will they ascend me (teeth are already relatively straight, slight malocclusion and overjet).

Youre such a bitch dude theres no way. Its just pain in your teeth, you cant actually be that much of a baby where you need oxycodone to bear it.

And you can cope with the truth that the pain will subside soon enough

A thing that can help is cold stuff like ice it helps reduce the pain and yes u can ascend if the braces fix that overjet and malocclusion

my turbos keep knocking my teeth and since they're at my front teeth i cant properly rest my mouth my masseter is killing me and my wire gave me an ulcer im calling ortho tomorrow to clip and adjust it but i cant eat anything without being in pain (even soft foods)
