Is there any way to permanently turn off YT shorts? Yt has a lot of good stuff but it’s so hard to not doomscroll

Inb4 muh just don’t doomscroll it’s not as easy when dopamine is maxed out

if you have an android you can install "stayfree", in it has blocking inside apps where you can block shorts, reels, etc.. It also exists for pc if you use that. Probably exists on ios but I don't know because I don't use that.

Ok just set it up on my iPhone, will it work on the YT app? Or is it just a web browser extension type of thing?

No no also works in app I am pretty sure, but I don't know 100% because I don't even have the yt app anymore
