Yeah, he doesn't necessarily look young for 44. Yet he still has good looks. Some older men are lucky enough they can simultaneously look their age and have good looks.

As late as age 38, however (in the picture of him at 38), he looked young for his age

We look the best because we have the most variety of phenotypes within our race than other races. That means it can go the other way as well.
