Many people theorize about the meaning of life, why we're here, what this is all for. We seek religion for answers and prophets for satisfaction of our human drive to figure out the purpose in everything, this particular matter being the one of life. But the one thing that all these things share in common is that they're speculative. We live to see God after death? Who can prove that? We're a simulation? How could you know? Let me tell you something though that's concrete, quantifiable. We only have to look at our most primal urges. The ONE true purpose of life, that we can all prove through our instincts and hardwiring, is the one to breed. The ONE purpose we can truly prove in life is to reproduce. ALL living beings on this Earth know this, everything reproduces. If you don't breed, you lose the game of life. Start a family, have a kid. It's the one thing that you know you'll be doing right.

yeah i think about that sometimes, the two instincts all organisms share and the only "point" in life would be to survive and breed, that's what literally everything from microorganisms to crocodiles do. Survive and pass on your genes. Pretty much everything in society is done to increase the chances you'll breed with someone with favorable genetics - becoming rich, dressing nice and getting a haircut, working out, everything from attending school to get a decent job in the future to taking a picture of a fancy meal and posting it on instagram so people think highly of you. I think that something beneficial might happen if you pass on your genes after you die or you're punished somehow/DELETED if you don't
