This is normal, at least for high-emotional teenage relationships and crushes.

Teenage relationships are traps that enervate you until you're a dried little raisin. You're encouraged to pour lots of effort and love into it, and all that energy creates unhealthy obsessions like jealousy, clinginess, mood dependence, etc. It's also easy to manipulate and get manipulated due to how highly emotional it is and the immature nature of teenage self-interest.

I suggest NOT getting too involved and emotionally dependent on love as a teenager. Try and develop a mindset of blithe and indifference when it comes to attraction and love. It's obviously harder said than done but really try to put yourself first. If there's a crush you really want for example, try to think of it like a side quest and don't get too tied up in it.
