Brushing teeth everyday but they are still butter colored

Growing up my family didn't care about me and threw me to the dog house. I lived in both Italy and Greece up until 10 years old and in Greece my parents never taught be how to brush my teeth. When I started school the US I was bullied relentlessly over my teeth but my parents said there was nothing wrong with them. Now I do not know how to get rid of the yellow stains. Any tips?

Oil pulling.
Wash them atleast once a day (before going to sleep)
With oil pulling this summer mine whitened a bit
