Sounds strange to me. We in Russland, and basically across all Europe and USA, are all at 5'11 to 6' territory (of course excluding USA's latinos and such, because their culture is food with grains and beans which have antinutrients).

But, all of us are in high latitude cold climates, with snow 3 seasons of year, and no sunbathing culture, and no good meat, with plenty of grains in our diet.

I would have assumed, that Australians, who are sunbathing all day, eating animal flesh all day, are at least a few inches taller, like 6 feet 2, on average, with better facial bones.
