Actually not THAT bad.

If anything this proves that a long midface which is not caused by downward growth isn't a big deal unless it's insanely long (usually downward growth results in this).

If anything this proves that a long midface which is not caused by downward growth isn't a big deal unless it's insanely long (usually downward growth results in this).

Yup.. the only problem is that a slightly long midface needs to be compensated with a matching mandible, which becomes harder to do b/c to achieve an angular aesthetic jaw, the ramus length needs to be insane. This guy pretty much has everything down except his midface.... and crazy how just a few mms still had a huge change on a model tier face.

I got .97-.98 ratio for the morph, which I consider in the ideal range.

I think 1.0 looks a bit neotonous compared to .97, but both are definitely an improvement from the original.

Once you go above 1.0 is when a compact midface becomes a failo in my opinion (this is 1.05):

Long midface is not over if its within normal range and has good ipd imo

His face is tilted down which distorts it and is why it is longer, if it was neutral he would probably be close to it 1.0 which is why it doesn’t look that long. Our brain realize they are tilting down and adjust.
