It is not a sad world, it is the world, and the only world.

Stuff like this is not depressing, it just confirms what I already believe. Hope is an illusion. For some people- it really is over- and having any sort of idealistic fantasies is nothing but a coping mechanism. If he had the intellectual capacity to evaluate his situation, his heart would probably stop from despair.

There is no hope, for many people, and I think the essence of the black pill goes deep into it. I do not care for red pill motivational stuff, the black pill is all that is real to me- any sort of naive optimism is a joke to me. This is what you get, your life is what you get- motivational go-getter people insist that free-will is yours and you can have what you want if you take it, but truth is very different.

It is just as over for this hopeless vegetable as it is for many of us, by forces beyond our control.
