I live in a very segregated shithole where our capital city is divided in several "towns". On dating apps such as tinder and bumble, you can see the location of the user on the bio. In our case, if someone is from the capital, the specific town will be shown instead of just the capital city, so foids instantly know if you live in an affluent area (over for brokecels)
For example, if you lived in new york, it would said "upper east side" instead of just nyc (funnily enough, it's also in the upper east area where rich people live here)
I came to the capital a year ago, and lived in a middle class town. I got +50 likes on bumble in 3-4 hours and +100 in under a day. I made the account at night during the week so I sabotaged myself by this.
Anyway, I matched with some mids, virtually no one from the affluent neighborhoods
I recently moved to an affluent reighborhood and tried again, and holy fuck I'm only matching with skinny M/HTB+ now, mostly from the affluent areas, many going to private colleges.
Lesson learned: there's no looks for your brokeness
I also saw something a bit similar on /fit/ years ago
