I started working at a boat part manufacturing company a couple months ago and I work in the machine shop wing of the building. Before I got the job I was given a tour by the foreman and at the end he introduced me to the receptionist in the opposite end where I work.
Before I left I thanked the foreman and said goodbye and the receptionist heard me and turned and smiled as said bye. So I thought I had a shot. So I when I got home I found her insta waited until I got the job and then requested to follow her a few days later. I waited just short of a day and she didnt accept the request so I just canceled and LDAR’d.
After that I just mentally accepted it and moved on and because I’m pretty isolated from the rest of building I didn’t see her for a good month so it was easy to just ngaf. Two days I ago I ran into her and had a short conversation nothing big but it wasn’t akward or anything. She was smiley and I think she fake laughed at something I said. When I got home I decided to follow her one more time because fuck it. And the she ended up following me back later that day so I think about what I’m going say and sit on it for a day.
I ended up coming up with something along the lines of me saying I wanted to talk to her little more but my department is kind of cut off from the rest of building. And then I tried to make light of how we’ve only seen ran into each other once or twice in the last two months. She left me on delivered. Didn’t open it but she was online when I sent it jfl. It’s been almost a day. Its ovER
