im getting bimax in ±2 months, it's already planned
I'm now thinking about buccal fat removal surgery for that extra hollowness (nothing planned yet, just orienting)
can you actually get buccal fat removal before or after bimax, or do you have to wait like a certain amount of time?

if u think im retarded for thinking about buccal fat removal, please also explain why

lmk

Just wait if you know you will be altering your bones, you will afterwards determine if the procedure is needed and how much fat you want removed. You have probably also heard that rhinoplasties are always advised for AFTER jaw altering procedures because you should always change these things in proportion and in relation to the jaw to get the proper look. Kinda a long answer so TLDR: The risks are overblown, I got it, decent results, still need to get lean for that chiseled look, I don't look older at all, I'm 20 and people still think I'm either 18 or underage.

Ur not retarded for thinking about that. Buccal fat removal risks and all that shit is soo god damn overblown. That is coming from somebody who got it. If your buccal fat pads aren't the main contributors to your chubby cheeks, the difference won't be very big, but still noticeable. Make sure you get the whole buccal fat pad removed (by whole I mean everything from the cheek region).

And no you will not look drastically older or any of that shit that all those people claim, I'm 20, and even after getting the removal many people still assume I'm either 18 or underage JFL. But you will also need to lose weight, preferably reach somewhere around 8-12% bodyfat. It's more of an enhancement than a life changer honestly, but again, depends if it contributes to your cheeks a lot or not.

You can even get it WITH bimax, not before or after. I watched a lefort 1 surgery video awhile ago, the buccal fat pads become visible when the maxilla is cut and the surgeon took them out, so extracting them might not require extra cuts to your cheeks. But I'm not a surgeon so I can't really tell if the maxilla must be cut a certain way to reveal the buccal fat pads. You can get it the classic way aswell doesn't matter, it's one of the easiest procedures there is, especially when the surgeon is not a dumbass.
