Islam has not predicted the modern world and now more and more problems are starting to appear that it has no answer to. Buddhism on the other hand very accurately offers precise ethical solutions to all sorts of modern problems and even provides elegant answers to hypothetical future problems that only until very recently were even known to be possible.

Ethics is a loaded thing. The correct view on it is that G-d creates ethics and tells us what is and is not wrong. For Buddhism, it's ethics comes from the Buddha himself and he is only human therefore I would rather follow my G-d, Allah.
