Caffeine also reduced the insulin-like growth factor-I receptor (IGFIR) and pAkt levels in both ER+ and ER− cells

Caffeine consumption has been related to growth retardation due to its impact on the growth plate cartilage. It has a negative impact on the main components of the ECM, as well as in some crucial transcription factors involved in chondrocyte differentiation. Caffeine also interacts with the GH/IGF-1 axis, leading to a reduction in IGF-1 signaling. Additionally, caffeine decreases intracellular calcium concentration (Ca2+), as well as chondrocyte apoptosis. Among the morphologic changes induced by caffeine intake, a wider hypertrophic zone and a reduction of mineralization stand out.

sorry for low effort lol

It's a toxin.

so eating sugar, that leads to increased insulin will lead to increase in growth hormones?

yes when insulin is high, igf-1 levels are stimulated (aswell as oestrogen jfl)
