Dimorphism should be deviations from the average though not too extreme.
Though even then I think this guy only looks like this because he is older. I bet when he was in his late teens and early twenties he had less dimorphic feature (lowerd third, browridge etc) and probably had hair collagen and lips that made him look more youthful.

Too much dimorphism makes you look ogre which is low/niche appeal. For max appeal you need a good balance of masc and fem traits, which is why hybrid slayers like Somerhalder have huge appeal

Yes. Some people don't realize that thin lips and long philtrum are literally dimorphic traits. They are obviously not good, but they are, nontheless. Most slayers don't have purely DOM faces, certain traits are feminine and that's what gives it more appeal.
