Can anyone tell me why sleep deprevation makes me more NTmaxxed?

I have been up for like 30 hours straight so im really tired, and right now my crippling anxiety and ocd is practically gone.

Do you know why this might be the case, like scientifically or from your personal experience?

i legit felt normal, like i did a couple years ago before crippling fear overwhelmed me, I had a conversation with my parents about the fucking mugs that we owned, how we have a lot of marvel coffee mugs and cups JFL but this is insane

i could legit go out and get a girlfriend right the fuck now. I can't believe it, i actually appreciate my life in this moment, my looks, my physique. I am appreciating every second as I know that any minute now I could slip back into my anxiety rabbit hole.

How can I use this knowledge of Less sleep = lower inhib = ntmaxxing to my advantage, wut u think?

It's because the less you sleep the more your brain is fatigued resulting is decreased function, your social inhibitors decrease the same way your reflexes or memory do
It's like when you have a high fever, not only is your brain very fatigued but it also has bigger problems to deal with then being socially embarrassed or careful

Anyway there's no trick to this, youre flooding yourself with cortisol rn because your brain is trying to keep you alert and focused. This is pretty temporary because soon everything will crash down as your sleep deprivation catches up, meaning all other cognitive functions will shut down. Basically its just an illusion.

True, i get what ur saying completely, its like normally how sometimes I can fully focus on one thing and complete it. Usually because its something I really want to do or need to do.

So now that my anxiety is lessened I guess i can just fully lock the fuck in on single tasks. Its just like the best high ever lol, it never ends!

Not really, your brain doesnt prioritize anything by choice, its just subconsciously your cognitive controls fucked up and behaviors that are normally suppressed show up and your brain pumps whatever it can to try to focus and stay alert even at low battery

Eh I mean cortisol also decreases test, your body prioritizes stress hormones at this time over growth.

Also the best time to follow me was when I made my account, the second best time is right now

Not really, your brain doesnt prioritize anything by choice, its just subconsciously your cognitive controls fucked up and behaviors that are normally suppressed show up and your brain pumps whatever it can to try to focus and stay alert even at low battery

Your brain will always prioritise its own safety over social behaviour when talking about bodily functions, so when you put it in enough stress (like staying awake for multiple days at a time) it will react accordingly

No I meant during sleep deprivation, your brain doesnt ignore social skills or being embarrassed or whatever, its just a subconscious thing of it trying to lock the fuck in while you destroy your body

Buddy once again this is not a cure. These are just side effects of destroying your body. If you repeatedly do this youre gonna fuck up so many things, you dont need to research in to this. You'll have much short attention, reaction time, memory, etc. While also screwing your immune system and hormones. Not to mention emotions but that doesnt matter too much

I've experienced this feeling as well, but I would heavily advise against doing this. If you want to be low inhib and you don't care about your body just do drugs jfl. Sleep serves an essential function to the body and the mind, without it you will begin to deteriorate. Stay safe boyo

Adderall works its mainly for adhd but it has too many side effects if you care about health. Otherwise its basically superhuman meds. Ive also heard about modafinil although dont know much about it. Both of these are prescription but if you go to doc and you act like you have adhd and get a prescription

Dopamine increases because your brain is trying to keep you awake and alert making you feel energised and a bit euphoric

The prefrontal cortex becomes underactive due to low energy making you less controlled and more impulsive

The amygdala becomes overactive due to being in a stressed state making you more emotional, reactive and sensitive

It’s most likely worse than alcohol as your body takes far longer/or never really recovers from intense sleep deprivation, while alcohol is recovered from far quicker

same thing happens to me, I just call it moment of euphoria. You are cortisolmaxxed when you do not sleep, so then dophamine/adrenaline and serotonin gets released for survival reasons, I think it is evolotiounary trait as Our ancestors had to hunt for few days straight. I think very few people have this, You gotta be us, hunter to experience it. Yes it is best feeling, but do not let it lie to you, you can be like that if you get your life in right order :feelsokman:

I just gotta bounce between this and normal forever man, this is a new substance i unlocked today basically, just stay up for a long time and enjoy the next day with way less stress as you are much too tired to think about negative anxieties that aren't your top focus
