Can aspies come off as less aspie by communicating in a language they aren't fluent in?

When I am sober I feel as if I focus too much on how something I say is going to sound rather than just saying it without worrying about it being perceived a certain way.
If I try talking to people in my second language (French) and they can tell I am a novice speaker, then all of my brain power will be put towards trying to construct the sentence I want rather than my brain shooting me in the foot by having several things to say but hesitating and sounding less convincing because I can't decide which thing would be most optimal to say
My language skills will be broken down to that of a 5 year old and my brain will reward me for constructing a basic sentence rather than punishing me by thinking everything I say is suboptimal which it does when I speak English
