Can being sick make you bloated?

Gonna preface this with I am generally lean, i’m like 13% body fat, 6’2 135 and my face isn’t fat naturally. However, I came back from a trip up north and I’ve been horrifically sick and my face has been fairly bloated since. Is there a correlation?
