Can bloating cause your face to look squarer?

People are suddenly telling me that my face looks more square and short compared to my longer and more v shaped face which I had a few months ago. (in a bad way)

I have gained 1-2 kgs so could facial fat be the reason or is it my bones? I'm 15 btw
