Can braces fix the aesthetic problems that come with an overbite?

I'm certainly not a candidate for jaw surgery, its not bad enough and is not obvious either, so theres no way I could convince someone I have breathing problems or something because of it. (so insurance will cover it)

Would braces simply move my teeth without changing my face, or would it improve some of the lost lower third length/projection?

i got braces and im not sure they did anything for actual jaw
