16.1yo I'll most likely get braces for deep bite but to correct it the maxilla would also need to improve which probably isn't possible right?

Maybe this vid I recorded yesterday can help. You might spot some autism
ur recessed + mild downgrown, nothing insane, u need the braces, but after taking it off when the treatment finish, talk to a doctor about CCW rotation + bimax + genio
go for it

not possilbe, but u dont look that downward grown, but ur somewhat recessed.
Also its not possible to see ur entire jaw on the pic so its hard to tell, send a better one.

Can't take pics rn I drew a line over it. Tell if it's not enough. I do have a little bit of a gummy smile tho, it feels like the lower part of the maxilla is rotated downwards a little

Braces will NEVER in a million years fix recession or down growth. The only solution is surgery, or if you are very little an orthodontic appliance. That being said, you look more recessed than down grown. If you want, research more about orthognathic surgery, that's what would "fix" your jaws.

Idk the lines arent accurate at all, the mandible line seems too low and below the mandible itself

Ok but in what way does braces ascend you I'm really curious

1. Improves smile
2. I look extremely subhuman while eating
3. some parts like the mandible(from what chatGPT said) should still be developing until 18-20. I can also cope a little that maxilla is going to improve from proper chewing forces

Wait, but camouflage treatment is often counter-productive to potential future orthodontic compensation.

You need to talk to surgeon before considering camouflage treatment.
