Can hair relaxers change the hair texture/shape?

I mean like your natural hair. Like I know it changes it in the moment, but if you were to relax your hair then cut if all off, would it regrow differently? Because I feel like that’s what happened to me

yes they would make curls less tight but they should regrow same texture or around there if u got a buzz

Me it’s the opposite. I’ve gotten MULTIPLE buzzcuts and it’s been 4 fuckin years and my hair changed JFL.

This was me when I was younger down here. It was softer and the curls were looser

they were looser because ur hair was shorter, the longer it grows the more it can curl up and the more it curls up the shorter ur hairs looks

Its just puberty, when you go through sudden hormonal changes ur hair texture can change. Even when women go through menopause they can lose or gain curl texture. Me and my brothers hair became curlier after puberty too, not to your extent though.

No theres nothing you can do, just get keratin treatment

No it only affects disulfide bonds in the the keratin of hair shaft temporarily changing the tertiary structure
