Can heavy axial loading cause premature closing of the growth plates?

Could heavy axial lifts such as squats and deadlifts mske some kind of pressure or similar on the growth plates that could force them to close prematurely?

Don't think so, make sure to decompress your spine anyways by deadhanging, two sets, for as long as you can, make sure to relax your shoulders and feel the weight shifting downwards.
