Pretty sure you get SARPE before Bimax so that the end result is better

Usually SARPE is performed to correct dental crowding brought on by narrow archs, it would be pointless moving narrow archs forward as your end result will look worse, so surgeons perform SARPE first, also I guess the plates in the jaw would fuck with SARPE.

you can remove the plates but you might be right for other pats.

@RealSurgerymax said sarpe might fuck your hollow cheeks so idk not sure what to doi.

No. That would go against bimax. You need SARPE first then bimax. Same for MSE etc.

Yes you can but SARPE first is ideal.

@6ft4 Did your hollow cheeks worsen after SARPE?

I never had hollow cheeks
After SARPE I started with orthodontics to make my underbite more severe to prepare me for jaw surgery
My cheeks have gotten more hollow since I started this process because my mandible is no longer tucked backwards into a cucked position meaning the mandible is forward in it's narutal position which stretches the skin more
None of that is applicable to SARPE but I do not see SARPE reducing the hollowness of your cheeks

i didnt know orthodontics alone could change the position of jaw

i have overbite. do you think i too would benefit from othodontics hollow cheeks wise?

SARPE + braces then BIMAX sounds quite a good plan for me. Why you want bimax first?

It's actually mind boggling the changes that come from moving the position of the mandible with ortho work
My gonians push out against the soft tissue more and my ear canal has opened up coz the bone is not blocking it
How severe is the overbite, if you go for tradition orthodontics without a surgery plan in mind there is the chance that the ortho pushes your upper teeth backwards into your maxilla which is unideal
