Don't really know, my hair isn't straight it is naturally wavy so I don't use products because it is also very thick. I used to use products though. I would recommend some antifrizzing spray and maybe some sea salt spray just for the tips of your hair to get that wavy texture.

Depends on your coloring, if it doesn't accentuate the hair color and texture it will look out of place and make you look washed out
It is possible though, you just need consistent upkeep and styling. Maybe daily
