Can I use Retinol 0.5 and Tretinion at the same time?

Or will I fuck up my skin big time using both at the same time? I've been using Tretinion for several years, and now I got Retin 0.5 for a good deal on the side. I'm just wondering if this would affect my skin too much?

Why use weaker version and stronger version of the same thing at the same time? Unless 0.5% is too strong for you then try weaker version until your skin adapts
