If anything you need to eat more liver and get rid of the accutane. One belongs in the body. One doesn't.

I have accutane just sitting in my closet. It's simple. Just stop taking it. Ghost your dermotologist.

Caused me depression bud. I looked into the side effects and was like fuck that shit bro.
I'll stop if i get bad side effects. I've wondered about the depression part. Is that not just from purging and not drug itself?

I took the same dose of vit a as 40mg of accutane and it started to give me signs of liver failure. Switched to accutane the first month-2 months was hell now my acne is clearing extremely rapidly

Ingredients in Isotretinoin

The primary ingredient in isotretinoin medications is isotretinoin itself, a synthetic derivative of vitamin A. In addition, the capsules may contain excipients like:

  1. Gelatin: Used to form the capsule.
  2. Glycerin: A humectant to maintain capsule moisture.
  3. Soybean Oil or Vegetable Oil: Used as a carrier for the active ingredient.
  4. Beeswax or similar stabilizers: Helps maintain consistency.
  5. Colorants: May include iron oxides or titanium dioxide for capsule appearance.

Why Can't You Make Isotretinoin Yourself?

  1. Complex Chemistry: Isotretinoin isn’t just vitamin A; it’s a structurally specific isomer of retinoic acid. It requires precise chemical synthesis, which involves isomerization and other steps that are not feasible without advanced chemical knowledge, laboratory equipment, and raw materials.
  2. Pharmaceutical Standards: The synthesis of isotretinoin must meet rigorous quality and purity standards. Impurities could lead to severe side effects or reduce efficacy.
  3. Dosage Control: Isotretinoin is incredibly potent, and even small dosing errors can cause significant harm. Making it yourself could result in incorrect dosages, leading to severe side effects like teratogenicity (birth defects), liver damage, or skin disorders.
