Can orthodontics bring my lower jaw forward?

My mandible is pretty lacking at the moment + I have a overbite and I’m wondering if Damon braces + herbst appliance would fix that plus bring my mandible forward, and if that wouldn’t work would any orthodontics at all?

I might try that thx but braces won’t actually cause recession I don’t think unless you get teeth extracted + I’m taking about Damon braces which are a bit different cause there’s no elastics pulling your bone back

so you’re repeating almost exactly what I said except for the fact that braces would only cause recessions if you got teeth extracted… and that’s besides th point because I’m talking about getting Damon braces not traditional
