Yes and no. A traditional palate expander doesn't usually work past 16 because your maxilla bones have already fused, but there are different orthotropic devices that do the same thing for adults. So you won't be getting a palate expander per se, you're getting Maxillary Skeletal Expander (MSE) in most cases.Title
