I personally think it has an effect not because of any article of study I’ve read, but about a year and a half ago I got a cavity in my back molars, so I couldn’t chew on one side at all or it would hit the cavity, and for almost that entire year and a half I was chewing on the right side of my mouth. Now I’ve started to chew on both sides again but it’s very obvious that my right master is more defined, and my entire left part of my face is slanted down now almost as if one side of the maxilla got the support it needed and the other side is further down bringing my entire left facial structure down with it.
