Looks, money, solitude basically all the things that they dont teach in school is there any more possible reasons? I have the same problem. Rather do research on other subjects. With the internet we're able to access so much more information that previous generations didn't have access to. Formal education isn't as beneficial as it once was because of this, yet it's still important.

The other reason is how dopamine fries our receptors, so that mundane tasks become undoable.

Find something that aligns with your interests to study and cut out dopamine sources that aren't advancing you socially, intellectually, and physically.

I mean it still somewhat inaccurate to this day, but it doesn't take a genius to know that IQ mainly revolves around adaptability to situations. Anyone. Eg IQ and concientiousness are two different things but have heavy overlap, but an IQ test does not measure Concientiousness.

You still havent explained how identifiying patterns corresponds with adaptability.
